It's ten shades darker at the far end from when it first started appearing.. There is no other explanation for the color change other than rapid growth, unless they are adding food coloring in the middle! LOL!

The algae will probably only grow under sunlight. What we see now is just what the setting sun began.. tomorrow will be a green day throughout the tubes which will get denser and darker as the days pass. Don't expect much more in the morning than what you see right now, early formations moving around with the pig.

Of course the algae is growing now. It's in an environment that is nutritionally optimized and pH balanced to grow at maximal rate. How could anyone posibly think it isn't growing?!
There is also some green color from innoculation, of course. But growth is most certainly occuring as well.

well algae is always growing, is growing while spreading out , then contunues to grow untill during and after harvest

long as that sun is shine, food is in the water, that crop will grow!
