Nice article with critical bearing on the importance of both 113 and 534. Glad to see that the importance of the underlying issues our drugs deal with is getting more widely disseminated and appreciated.

Will 534 block all "the escape routes"? Seemingly, at least a lot of them, and crucially for ariad, many more than all current competitors.

I agree with Don and others that it's essential to get 113 into trials asap. Time lines in these things are so important and failure to develop expeditiously has certainly undermined many biotechs in the past(as they got beaten to the punch).
