Glad to see that Memphis won best musical. Went to see it because of a chance meeting with Cary Tedder, one of the cast members, in Bryant Park behind the New York Public Library when visiting the Big Apple this spring. Have told all my theater loving friends what a great show it is and that they must see it if they are in New York.
My daughter, who is in high school and does all the musicals at her school had me take pictures of her with Carey and Chad Kimball, the star of the show. Chad was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical but didn't win, unfortunately.
