#2503 RE: chessmite #2501

Chessmite, any large area grid project,
in North Africa like Desertec, or Trec,
or the Lebanon Grid, or Saudi Kingdom
Expansion Project, or the Mongolian Project
and other asian projects all are targeted
by QMC.

QMC is designed to mass produce from
1 to 12 GW per year from one plant of
thin film PV solar panels.

They will beat the price, they will
produce faster, with shorter startup
factory time, they will be able to
deliver the panels without the mounting
so the locals can attach them to their
custom mounting, saving transportation
cost of something that does not add
high value to the product and it looks
like they are now saying they can
match the efficiency of silicon, which
will always be at a higher price.
What's not to like?

Chessmite...perhaps the route of selling licenses to some of the solar providers for Desertec.Exerpt from Bob Glass below.

There will be several licenses available from Solterra. Licenses will be developed for each application and from that point, custom designed to provide for the needs of any one organization. License descriptions will vary depending on Licensees specific needs as related to locale.
