They just make generic reports of every possible merger/acquisition
and input whatever public information there is about the acquirer and target.
They even put the disclaimer :
Please note that the scope of the content included in the Thomson Financial SDC database will vary. Typically, pubicly-traded companies will tend to have more comprehensive data than private (and smaller) companies. Also, for M&A databases it is common to encounter deals where "terms" (consideration paid) are not disclosed. Although records of such deals are included (with data gathered via publicly-available reports), these records are considered "complete" because all of the known, relevant data is disclosed.
so you can be pretty sure that in this report 90% of all attributes will have a blank value, because this information is just not available
just look at the header :
how professional is that ?
"US - Nourtech Sarl of Drance planned to acquire the entire share capital of Sunrise Consulting Group Inc, a Newport Beach-based investment bank, for USD #. ### per share, or a total value of USD ##.### mil. "
that is in one sentence, 3 mistakes
past tense "planned" ??
doesn't even mention the target price, nor the total buyout price
they just look up what business segment SNRS is in, and apparently that is outdated info, since they are not in investment banking now anymore.
and since they couldn't find data on Nourtech, they just use the general code 6799 - investor
now nourtech is supposed to be an investment company ? last i knew they were a solar company for the commercial and residential market
