exactly! but the fact they are EXPANDING the geo teting means, to me anyways, that their preliminary findings must be positive to sy the least!

I think were going to start an upward trend later this month as the speculation builds to the GEO analysis...At that point the pps will reach a flash point and we should all be handsomely rewarded for the patience demonstrated during these quiet times. I'm still adding to my position as funds become available...

To t43riz: That's because it wasn't "news". It was the same old mindless drivel. People aren't fools, but they can be made to do foolish things (like buying this stock right now) IF PROPERLY MOTIVATED TO DO SO ... and that POS PR just doesn't do the trick. In fact it looked like it was written by a machine ... the same machine that wrote this one, by the same company, concerning the same property, back in September of 2008:

TORONTO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/25/08 -- "Cannon Exploration Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CNEX) announces that the initial reconnaissance program undertaken on the Queen Alexandra Gold Mine, located outside of Dryden in Northern Ontario, Canada, has been completed.

A limited ground geophysical survey conducted by Major Management Exploration Services (MMES) indicated a conductive zone in the immediate shaft area located on the property.

The survey also reconciles with and supports the known historical information that mineralization is present in that area, and trends along the same zone where the one shaft and exploration pit, as well as several trenches, exist.

Cannon will now move to the next stage of exploration by establishing a complete grid of the property with a control baseline, and conduct additional ground geophysics, east and west of the shaft. This next phase will also include the collecting of rock samples along the geophysical conductor axis, and thorough investigation of the old shaft area and rock structure.

Cannon Exploration will commence with this next phase of exploration on or about October 01, 2008."

PR says they will continue explorations in July
on larger samples. I have a feeling that this
means the initial findings are not that great.

We shall wait for the report from the geo which
hopefully will negate my hunch.
