I would opine it's not for our sake,

it's for Dean's sake. Imagine the barrage of emails now as the smell of money permeates the market. This phone in only rule cuts down on a mountain of repetitious reading is my hunch.

Lines are open during the CC which will allow questions that may arise to be asked. I think doing it this way could increase the ability of shareholder's to get up to the minute answers. Better than stale questions that may have already been answered.

I think it's just their way of not having to deal with heaps and heaps of Emails to read.. working hours on end reading and sorting

This way they give everyone a chance. Or at least give you a shot at it. Filter out those who are too cheap or too lazy to actually wait for their opportunity to pose their 'well thought out' question AND they have a limited time frame to spend on this extra work.
