oh dingo.....there is no question....Q Television will be the voice of the gay community. Frank has a class act on this one and it's obvious they are looking to be 'the voice'

nice post

"Now throw in the GAY card and the Sterotypes people have about the GAY community makes it even more dangerous in the minds of CABLE CARRIERS"

AMEN DINGO!!! Thank you! Here! TV could get a deal on every carrier/channel in the world and it's STILL not going to be a competitor to Q. If anything, it will HELP Q to get more exposure. Think of it as getting the proverbial (sp?) gay foot in the door. Eventually, those who are shaky and not sure of gay television will come around and be a little more desensitized to the idea if Here! gets more exposure.

I could care less what the heck Here! is up to. It's obvious that those who are worried are doing so simply because the only thing Q and Here! share in common is gay content.
-When a new reference book is published, does it affect any libraries? NO
-When linksys comes out with a new router, is Microsoft affected? NO
-When a mom and pop coffee store upens up, is starbucks or coffee bean affected? NO
-When blockbuster announces "no late fees" is the movie theater industry affected? NO
-when apples have a great harvest year, are orange sales affected? NO

It's like AOL vs. the Internet. I am amazed at how many people think AOL IS the internet. Aol is like a library that also has a door to the internet. The internet itself is vastly more. (Here! is like AOL in that example, Q is the internet)

I can't believe I just wasted 1 of 3 posts on this subject :)
