If ZVTK Ionic Bulbs got popular, somebody else could jump on the bandwagon and buy the bulbs in bulk @ $1.50-$2.00 apiece and steal market share. Likewise, anyone can buy bulbs from Viatek directly and re-sell them like ZVTK.
