There are so many versions and stories going around that one can't really tell but, one of the rumors I heard was, he was caught while trying to tie a person who was bashing him on the boards on a four horse run, that is, tie each arm and leg to one of each horse and make all four going different ways... of course, that's a rumor, not confirmed...

Stock fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, money laundering, etc.

His lawyers managed to plea bargain down to money laundering and 8 months in prison.

They eventually convinced the court to let him remain free and on strict probation.

It appears his PO wants him to go to jail though.
