Board relations
Perspectives of this message board by some are getting skewed.
Let me try to post a couple of observations and comments.
Firstly, the 'to whom it may concern' post that JP posted last night wasn't written by him, but AFL= A fellow long, a longtime shareholder who doesn't post directly on the board. Those were his observations, not JP's.
On questions posted on the board: those are fine, given that the poster has done some DD on their own, and can point out their DD and where their questions are. As anyone who's read stock message boards for any length of time can attest, a common tactic used by a basher of a stock is to pose questions that they think will stir things up a bit, and try to highlight weaknesses in the stock..as opposed to honest questions.
Some considering some on the board edgy? Nahhhh, not at all. And saying we have 'all the answers'; I don't think anyone here feels they have 'all the answers', but we have done a lot of networking and research (such as reading all the court filings in the court cases) and that information gives confidence in one's holdings. I don't think that's 'uptight' or 'edgy' IMO.
The longs on the board have really addressed virtually every question posted here by new shareholders, but sometimes it feels like its never enough. (and then we get accused of 'acting like children fighting over the swing set')
No one's been 'uptight' when a 'con' is mentioned, perhaps though it's just frustration as many of these type questions have already been answered, in one form or another, even by RetiredandPlaying, may he RIP. We're trying to live by his example, to keep lighting candles rather than curse the darkness.
But hey, there's news out to post, and digest. :-)
