I am not fretting for him..and If you are upset with the way he has handled the Oil spill, I am in complete agreement. He has made some major mistakes in his dealings with the public. I personally don't care for the guy much at all.
I haven't looked into his history or how his pay is structured but remember he is the CEO I think...of the Largest Corp. in England..That will demand a large salary. My guess is part of his pay includes deferred stock shares..and I would guess..every year a certain percentage become available to cash out...it is my guess that is all he was doing and the guy writing the story was trying to capitalize on the timing of the sold shares with the accident and demise of the stock value...unless he sabotaged the well there is no way he could have known at the time he sold his shares...JMO of course..
