Still too early for an examiner.

The required next steps should be clearer by 6/11/10. I am trying to make arrangements to participate. This may or may not mean I will be in the courtroom. If I am there, look for the guy sitting in a corner wearing boots, cowboy hat, poncho and sunglasses shuffling a deck of cards with a toothpick in his mouth...

Being in a courtroom actually has its disadvantages. You can't use a cell or smart phone. If I use a service, I can provide real time play-by-play. A fellow iHubber, guster0, did exactly that in the FMNTQ case, posting info on Yahoo Finance. He did a great job. I am sure I can do a good one. Everyone gets near real time information at no cost. Who else is going to make you that deal?

Of course, when I become a member of the OEC, the information flow will come to a halt and so will trading.

Thanks, KT, for the information. I have already been looking into this subject. The most important thing to ask is, "who is going to pay to file the motion?" I guess that would be "me". If approved, the Debtor pays the examiner.

In FMNTQ, two proponent shareholders filed a motion and succeeded in getting an examiner appointed. The OEC was a little hot because it burned real cash and equity.
