Calling oryx a basher for that bit of enlightenment is ludicrous!

Perhaps it's you who should move on....

Huntewr7- Actually, I own some shares of CNEX.

I expect to sell them after an expected run due to a lot of newbies being taken in by the pump. There's no reason at all for me to bash- I want the shares to go up. All I was doing was being honest. The Cannon website contains almost no substance- go back and read it. They have some claims, but they have done no exploration, they have no money, and they are already way beyond the number of shares you should see in what is essentially a startup company that has done no real work- This is NOT a mining company, it is an explorer. Do some research on what percentage of explorers actually become producers. The only positive I can see is that the claims are in an area where there has been some gold mining, and there is an old mine on the premises that produced less than 30 ounces of gold. Granted, miners at that time usually didn't mine anything that didn't have visible gold- approximately 2 oz/t- which is probably why the mine was abandoned after producing grades of only .8 oz/t. That's very good by today's standards, but you need more than a few feet of it to justify mining. CNEX needs years of work and lots of money (read: lots more dilution) before they ever see any production. And they need some employees who can run some numbers without making major blunders like the one I found on their website. The CNEX board is lacking in any substance- people talking about slapping the ask, locking up shares, to the moon, when (not if) we hit .10, etc. But nobody caught the error that hit me in the face as soon as I read it- and no one caught Stock Girl's blunder, either- she was praised for doing great DD. Anyone who dares discuss anything that might even be construed as negative (such as a major error on the website) is immediately labeled a "basher". Almost no posts discussing anything actually related to the company and its real world prospects, what it will take to become a producer, etc. Almost nobody posting there with any experience evaluating mining stocks as far as I can tell.

Speaking of which, what is it about the company's prospects that make it a "great play" in your opinion? I agree with you that it is a good chance to make some money, but that is completely separate from the question of if, when, and how this company will ever become a producer and return a profit. I'd like to hear your response to the substance of my post, aside from just telling me to just "move on".
