The next market-moving event I can think of for MON is the FY3Q10 earnings report and CC, which is scheduled for June 30.

The fiscal third quarter (ending May 31) marks the end of the planting season in the Northern Hemisphere and, in a normal year, it’s a big quarter. It wouldn’t surprise me if MON beats the recently lowered (and perhaps lowballed) guidance for FY3Q10 non-GAAP EPS of $0.75-0.80. However, beating reduced/lowballed guidance is such an old game that I doubt it will impress anyone unduly. Regards, Dew
