BP has finally made progress plugging their hole in the Gulf but the aftermath will be felt by many on the planet.
It is time for change. Drilling holes in the planet and sucking out the bubbles we float on is not a good plan long term, especially in the ocean.
Solar and other forms of energy such as hydrogen, wind and biofuels are totally doable and we have enough of our own oil here under our feet that would cost less than foreign conflict to access and is safer and cheaper than drilling in the ocean to get by on until we can wean ourselves off it.
