My Ship went to Portland a couple times for the Portland Rose Festival. We used to pick up people in Astoria at the mouth of the Columbian river and cruise to Portland. good times! I remember it was always June too. The ladies loved us. Dial a Sailor and you have a date for the night. I was called by two seventy something sisters for dinner. It was great and I was 22 lol
