Is there some way to avoid the ' on the profile page showing up as "?

This one isn't ringing a bell. The only problem I'm aware of on the profile page is the one where if you enter an apostrophe or quote mark in your signature line, it bombs out unless you enter two of them where you want one.

Is the problem you're seeing on a specific line?

(2) any prognosis on when the << >> bug is going away?

What bug is that?

There was a bug where if you had "<" as the first character in your post, the post would sometimes show up blank in any message list. That's been fixed. Is there another one I'm not aware of or am not remembering?

(2) Is there some (easy) way for the mailbox entires to indicate which threads contain new mail?

From a programming point of view, piece of cake. The reason I haven't done it yet is that I can't figure out a way to deal with it in the interface without "uglifying" the MailBox page too much. I can certainly see the usefulness of it, though, so I need to come up with something.

clicking on the response clears the entire new message count for whatever thread the message is on even though the othe messages have not been read.

This should only happen if the message happens to be the last one written on that board.

Edit PS -- is the spell checker on the fritz? "'#1111ff'" is showing up in front of misspelled words rather than them showing up in color

I never use the spellchecker, so I hadn't noticed. Has anyone noticed a consistent pattern with it so I don't have to look for it? As in it always happening in conjunction with certain characters in posts?

I'll try previewing this one to see what happens.

Edit: WOW!!! That's awful! Apparently it does it anytime an apostrophe is encountered. I'll get right on it.
