spokeshave, very well made point, but I think I missed the insulting posts. Would you please point them out by post number. As a board moderator I am to provide all who post here an objective environment in which to state their opinion. That includes the good, bad, and ugly! Whats not allowed is posters attacking each other with inflamatory remarks or outright insults! Please show me where I have insulted. I believe you are jumping to conclusions based on reading between the lines. Take the post for what it's worth. Most of us on this forum left our previous forum for the very reasons you describe. It's not that we were forced off, but we simply had enough fanatical views and emotional posts that weren't adding anything to the topic, and we wanted to go somewhere to escape the flames. My response was indirectly aimed towards a post on our former forum, where members there noticed our posts here, and suggested that they would follow us over as party crashers. Their post was partially made in jest, so I took it as that, if you read my previous post correctly. I even made it clear when I said, "contrarian viewpoints are welcome," which I actually do believe. What's nice about this forum is that moderation is done much more fairly, and the environment is much more conducive to civilized discussion. Emotional posts like yours are what feed the flame wars, not toungue-in-cheek remarks like mine. In the future, it would be nice if you could give me the benefit of the doubt, without accusing me as you have.
