Take a look at the following patterns, which are more similar to the pattern of the referenced IMGG daily candlestick pattern, than is the engulfing.

THE PROBLEM IS THE CANDLE COLORS ARE REVERSED IN THE ABOVE PATTERNS

I am always willing to learn. Could you send me a link re the engulfing pattern you referred to - I can't find one.
