RRain: I couldn't agree more with you regarding how you have to try to nail some of these stocks. It is nonsense to think you can hit the low exactly. You have to anticipate. If you wait for confirmation, the run may be over. On the other hand, if you are only playing a 25% bounce, you can do that. For me, 25% don't cut it because I don't plan to sell in a week. So, your methodology is right on IMO.
Also, as was mentioned, Microcap Kitchen is a long-time respected board. This particular link is on Silicon Investor. Perhaps there is one on IHub too. If so, I would like to know. I haven't dug into it.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see the post for Microcap Kitchen on IH.
You are correct that the vast majority of boards here are all about tomorrow. Even Estimated's board is pretty short-term. I think that is partly what makes VM so unique. It is ideal for me. I look for stocks that I believe if I buy them at a particular price, I can get a double in a year. Some double in a week, some never do. But, the philosophy says double in a year. That's reasonable and doable if the price is right and the stock is small enough. Most of these boards are not interested in a month, much less a year. So, this works well for many of us who, otherwise would not have a home.
