They will *absolutely* get dragged down with the rest of the industry. I wouldn't worry about that. There are several regional banks that are just outstanding companies that are unjustifiably undervalued.
WFC, PNC and BBT are all, IMO, undervalued.
I'd focus on getting as much of what you want, while you can, at the price you can, before it goes back up.
That might not fit into your style since I'm more of a buy-and-hold type of guy. A company's short-term movements have no effect on me other than getting me pumped to buy companies I love at prices I want.
