Greenway University, a medical marijuana business school in compliance and education, has partnered with Prince Insurance Group to develop Greenway Insurance.

According to a release, Greenway Insurance offers insurance for every aspect of the medical marijuana industry from dispensary owners to growers. Greenway Insurance offers services ranging from general liability, theft, fire, crop cultivation, workers compensation, auto and edibles coverage.

"Until today, little to no protection existed for dispensary owners against product loss or illness caused to patients from ingesting any items sold or stolen inventory," Gus Escamilla, founder and CEO of Greenway University, said. "A brand such as Prince Insurance selecting Greenway as its partner for providing insurance in this rapidly advancing industry is a continued testament to the legitimacy and standardization of the medical marijuana industry, and the leadership position Greenway has established in this industry.
