Definitely! It is everyone's responsibility to do their own DD which SHOULD include contacting the leadership of the company. You want to know who you are doing business with. You are afterall BUYING a part of the company.
I always tell people to look at stocks like they would a restaurant near their house. Would you buy that restaurant without visiting it? Without looking to see if there are complaints? See if there is anything negative? And would you not talk to the owner first?
This is the same thing. If you would do DD on a company you are going to buy, you should treat stocks the same way as you ARE buying that company!
From my own DD, I believe in this company. I believe in the revenue. I believe in what I am seeing. BUT, I called the company, I have talked to both Brian and Greg. I have talked to numerous other shareholders on this one BY PHONE. So I have a very good feel for my own DD but I know about others thoughts as well. I've been here for 2 months on these boards (inactive/active) and longer in and out of the company. I have seen a lot of good and a lot of ugly. And even with all the ugly, I still believe the good outweighs the ugly and that I will make more than my opportunity cost on this one once it does finally run.
