I'm not even going to comment on the argument youre discussing but unless you've been living I cave for those 10 years to say the Internet is irrelevant to business is absolutely ridiculous. It is the lifeline in many cases and vital to the operations of most. How do you know anything about this company? How did you read their press releases? How are you trading their stock? How are you arguing with other investors? You wouldn't even know about this company if not for the Internet. In most businesses these days the first thing constructed is a website. It is of absolute importance and the easiest thing to be done to have your website updated and it hasn't happened yet. Sorry for any typos I'm on my phone I just had to respond because I couldn't believe that was said.
The internet is mainstream now. It's easier to google a company or service and snap a link for the map. Paper phone books are almost gone. It seems inconceivable that any biz would not post a phone number for each store. Nobody wants to go through voice mail purgatory to punch through selections to get to a single store location.... One single 877 number.
People WANT two rings and a cheerful voice to feel good that this store knows what it's doing when pushing pins into their body. Other stores like hair care too.
Maybe lack of profitability was caused by oversight in the web page.
