Maybe you should call management and ask them directly. Sounds like you're not going to believe what anyone may tell you secondhand. Any reason you can't call?
Hoho, if you did your research to see when the commercials would be released, then you may have noted the marketing PR put out on 3/26/10 stating that the TV ads would be the third and final phase of their marketing efforts. This did not include any dates. No need to bash MP over the issue.
And RealTime was going to roll out end of December. It didn't happen, therefore we had no revenue coming in to substantiate TV commercial which are VERY expensive. The viral internet ads are going; the YouTube ad was created and is running on select sites.
I have to agree that it makes perfect sense to time the release of any TV commercials with the rollout of Trader with its charting and trading capabilities. We should see a PR about that hopefully before too much longer. Fins'll be out soon and I'm hoping to hear some green news when they are released, but I won't be disappointed if they're on the slim side due to delayed release of R/T.
