You might be right. Go to run to a meeting.... can someone figure our the conversion factor and run through an example? Are they essentially getting a 12-15% discount on the SP + dividends?

I doubt it will go that way. It would only benefit them if they then held the shares for a rise. If they are a reputable business they won't play games. I suspect they will be happy with the DIV and discount for profit as reward for their investment.
