You could be right if the spike was based on inside knowledge. However, in the past the spikes were much larger and were a prelude to a PIPE. Unless the short interest goes much higher, I doubt someone is doing a pipe on $2M dollars (700,000shares x $3).

Maybe it is the guy who did the puts doing some type of straddle move (above my pay grade).
