Ronald S. Lauder, the chairman of Estee Lauder's (EL) Clinique Laboratories, and the son of company founders Estee and Joseph Lauder, sold 320,000 shares for an average price of $60.20 each on May 6 and 7. After the sale, he held 328,298 Class A shares directly and indirectly through a family trust and through two organizations. His Class A stake represents less than 1% of those outstanding shares.
