Rustler,
How are log charts "cheating"? The only difference is instead of equal increments representing equal point changes, those equal increments show equal percentage changes. They are most useful when the whole span of a chart encompasses a huge percentage change (like a 100 year DOW, or most any penny stock).

Rustler like I've said , I'm not a particularly big fan of logarithmic charts. However, everyone ought to be entitled to their interpretation without being attacked. Thanks to Matt Chart's first chart on post # 60381 you can view a shorter term pattern you might like.
I particularly like this first chart that shows a classic R.N. Elliott ascending triangle accompanied with its diminishing volume that began April 23 at .0331 and is currently in its 4th wave. Usually - but not always - these triangles have 5 waves and then breakout in the direction of their 2nd wave which in this case is up.
Apparently this chart is automatically updated daily so chart lovers might want to bookmark the post for future reference.
