When we had the first and second ones, I sat beside the bed holding her hand for hours.

I so loved the episode where they did a "Gone With The Wind" spoof as Carol came down the stairs with a curtain on a rod draped across her shoulders. You could almost see Harvey laughing as he saw her coming down the stairs. OK, i guess i,m telling on my age now. But that was hilarious!

and it's worth every excruciatingly painful moment

otherwise, there'd be a lot of "only" child families!

ugh just had a flashback, there wasn't enough time for an epidural with the last child so it was all natural (not by choice believe me) but it's amazing that once that precious little gift is born, (and you see and hear it cry for the first time) the pain amazingly disappears immediately as if a light switch was turned.
