You're also buying a light bulb that lasts considerably longer than the average light bulb. Not to mention, when we get into a retail store I can guarantee we will see at least a 30% decrease of the price of bulb. When you produce something in as high of volume as it would take to stock retail stores, it tends to cost much, much less.
Another thing to consider is niche marketing. We have a product that no one else has that works well and is being sold. Large retailers like new products and new ideas.
