#117883 RE: Mick Dodge #117850

I have to have over 25k in account to day trade with etrade 4x margin. When you dip under the 25k amount you get a message that your about to lose your day trading privilege for 90 days.
(see below next paragraph for example of what they say)

It is a beautiful thing x4 margin, but more recently I've started moving everything into CDIV. it's the smart thing to bring my account up by leaps and bounds to get back to day trading. Lovely watching FAZ / FAS recently and daydreaming of all the funds that will soon be available due to 'CDIV squeezing out a short of spectacular fundage'.

You have a day-trading minimum equity call for the account shown below.

Because you currently meet the definition of a pattern day trader, NYSE Rule 431 requires that you maintain a balance of at least $25,000 in your account. You can satisfy this call:

By depositing additional funds into your account, and/or
By depositing additional securities into your account, and/or
When your account equity rises above $25,000 due to market appreciation

If the call is not met by the date shown above (or if you execute a day trade before the call is met), NYSE regulations require that your account be restricted to trading on a cash-only basis for 90 days or until the call is satisfied.

BTW, I met the call, and all due to CDIV EOD today. SWEET EOD TEAM action!
