He was a real prophet! He made this statement almost 70 years ago forecasting doom and gloom. Doom and gloom actually started in about 1775. Still going on today.

Our system won't allow that. As we have seen. Swing too far left(Clinton), voters vote in the right(Bush). Swing too far right. Voters vote in left(President Obama).

(How bad does a party and President have to be that a Hawaiian, his father from Africa, black man is elected as President of the United States, AND the Democratic party, with Nancy, Harry, and Barney are given majorities in both houses? HUH?) Ever ponder that? Pretty bad, wouldn't you concede?

In the election of 1800, the liberal Jefferson was surely going to totally distroy the country. Washington and Adams had been conservatives.
