I think they are still trying to work things out between the parties without an arbiter getting involved. PN was forceful in saying that you don't barge around in the GOG against state governments as they will hand you your ass. He pointed out to the successful EEZ blocks we chose and pretty much said if we weren't getting along with STP that would never have happened. My own impression (as I previously stated) was that ERHC would walk away from 5 and 6 if it meant we were going to get into a real confrontation with JDZ (meaning Nigerian and STP governments). I don't think the Blk 5 and 6 rights are a high priority with him at this time. He left the impression that all parties would be able to work things out together in a harmonious manner.
He said ERHC has very good relations with both governments and the media was full of hot air trying to make out that we are at odds with STP.
