just as with any other rumor, I wouldn't count on it.
Look at HESG what a run it had and what a nice bounce it had followed afterwords.
I myself don't see it halting, buts its very convenient to some to call it.
why ? cause if it does they are "Kings" in their own mind.
If it doesn't, oh well....no one will remember their call anyway.
so they have nothing to loose and everything to gain by fueling panic (oh yes and buying cheap shares at the bottom for the bounce of course).
its a risky play, but one that could still bring great % profits to those who get in early imo.
