Captain, I've heard somewhere that pirates us the patch on one eye when they are above deck and switch to the other eye when they go below. That way they can always see clearly without waiting for their eyes to adjust from light to dark ... or from the dark to the sun light
So as a fellow pirate I's be goin' below deck to find the rum, and I's be sure to use me good eye.AAAARRRRGGGH!!!
