I don't know the reason. It may simply be because SPNG trades on the Greys: your broker's trading desk has to call around to fill orders, and the MMs aren't required to accept them, since they aren't making a market.
In addition, many shareholders are no doubt at work, and may not yet have heard the news.
Being down 83% today, most people are not even in a position to salvage anything with that great of a loss. Thus, i have not sold yet. It may not be the answer you are looking for but thats the position i'm in.
You must have a buyer for there to be a trade. There are two dynamics currently at work...first, NO BUYERS...hence the low volume, and second, SPNG mythos still affecting current shareholders and they are hoping for some type of a rebound...it will take a few days for triple zeros as reality sets in.
The company is not dead yet. Product is still on the shelves. This company should be picked up by someone very soon. It is the most valuable, advertised and cheap company to pick up.
