Israeli firm possible Thresher buyer

Thresher Industries of Hanford named Israel-based Senergy Solar Systems LTD as its would-be buyer Tuesday

Business databases show that Senergy is based in Rehovot, Israel, about 20 miles south of Tel Aviv. Senergy's Web site says the company is involved in renewable-energy products such as solar panels, solar streetlights and wind generators.

An e-mail to the company Tuesday received a reply that the respondent "can't talk at the moment," but the person did not identify himself or herself, or respond to a follow-up message.
