There was a beta version available in the US for a while.. Same pattern, that was unofficial as well.. They made it look like a launch was imminent(I love this word)...

Eventually it was canceled....
Global roll out and BAIDU PRs followed.. Never happened, not a word from the Co.....
We watched Splash Pages and Kangroos for six months...

history is repeating itself....
