I have just started doing some "DD" and background research
on AMD........as importantly "getting other's perspective".
Anything I come across worthwhile will be posted here.

Do you have any thoughts on WHY the 'hammer' is delayed ??

AMD demonstrated a competitive architecture design three years ago. Lately, all they have demonstrated is incompetence. Right now, AMD's flagship **shipping** processor sells for $144.00, and their ASPs are approaching the $50s. Expect to see $300 Million in losses in the current quarter. If they can't return to profitability before 2H/03, there will be no AMD. And that would be a bad thing.
