I think that Jerry was *out* a long time ago.
Man, AMD does have problems. Last quarter they lost what, $300 million? And that was with a huge tax benefit. From what I have heard, that benefit is gone, I'm not sure how much they could lose this quarter, $500 million? Assuming they get hammer, the chip, out the in the second quarter, real revenue probably isn't in the card 'till the 3rd or 4th quarter of next year. And that's assuming it will be a marketing success... without significant software support.
So you could be looking at 5 consequtive quarters, with an average (WAG) $500 million loss.
I would say that Intel can see the whites of their eyes.
