Definitely speculative, as are all stocks. NV is more speculative than some, less than others. Each person must attempt to measure the speculative level of an investment and determine if he and his finances can tolerate that amount of uncertainty or risk.

Life is full of risk. Every time you drive down the road you expect to will arrive safely at your destination, but there is a risk you will not. We try to calculate our risks and take those risks that we feel are worth taking. It is an individual judgment call for each of us. I'll drive the freeway in a large van, but I will not do it on a motorcycle as I perceive the risk to be too great.

I might add I feel very comfortable with the speculative risk I take by being invested in NV. But only time will tell for sure whether I am a daredevil speculator who lost, or a very astute and visionary investor who reaped great rewards!

austin, I still consider NVEI a very speculative stock. I do think it is getting near the time that we find out which way it'll go. Then there are still other companies, what and if they have anything. And timming, the longer it takes the more likely something else may come out. If they can keep Cooper's timeline and come through big, then I think we should be okay. Any more (long) delay's and I think it'll be the nail in the coffin.
No more news of tests and the end of summer just around the corner, is making me a little nervous. But it's what makes this type of investment interesting.
