Why would a company just offer raw data?????? So that ill-intentioned people can spin it which ever way they want?? It would have been 100 times worst. For every knowledgeable oil person on this board, we have 10 skilled bashers. It would be like giving Krom raw statistic data and asking him to present his findings and views (good God, can you just imagine that!) !!!!!!!!

The company will present the data once they are authorized and will hopefully present it within the context of useable and understandable information that will be clear and unalterable with a clear course of action on the part of the operators.

Like I said before, I believe that SNP has no wishes to release any information prior to the EEZ closing their auctions of their blocks. So the 6 month extension, the quiet order, the mixed messages from different sources all means one thing; We will have to wait until September for real info while the master spinners play with shareholder's emotions. This summer, with all the playing that will go on, all the different "leaks", it will require testicular fortitude to hold on to your shares.

So folks will have to ask themselves "Am I in or, am I out?".

Cheers

Ok, here's the question I wish Grala had answered -- why drill shallow wells?

Tuesday, management confirmed what the rumors and news reports have been saying...gas. What I'm still trying to understand is why did Addax/Sinopec drill shallow - only into the gas caps. This was their plan from the start - the drilling plan that was JDA approved and for which they purchased pipe/casing, etc. Why would they not plan for and execute drilling deeper (like in Obo 1), past the expected gas cap into potential oil bearing sands at depths similar to the Obo discoveries? Obo reports that the oil sands are there and clearly Addax/snp knew that, but none of the Addax/snp wells went that deep. Perhpas they were afraid of the dealing with unmanagable well pressures? Or are there other explainations? I have a hard time understanding why they'd drill five wells into gas caps and stop.

Again, why didn't they go deeper into the oil sands?

I'd appreciate some of the drilling industry folks replies on this.

Thank you,
dat
