I have had similar experiences trying to buy lumber from tatf. I don't think they have shipped much wood out as the quotation I ended up getting was vague and had to be pulled out of them with several requests.
My belief is that there is production process capabilities coming on line for tatf. I think they expected this to be up and running by now, but from my personal experience setting up a shop, it takes much longer than anticipated.
I have had indications that this is close, but not ready yet. I am hoping when it is ready, to market for tatf on the East coast whatever they have available, to help increase the value of our investments. If this happens, I will let all know here, and will be very willing to split shipments with anyone interested.
