a question for folks who know the oil industry:

Has detailed seismic ever been SO 180 degrees wrong before? If so, why would anyone ever trust it again. The seismic estimates so incredibly wrong, if SNP is to be believed, that it seems to condemn the seismic methodology absolutely.
