That reminded me & I thought I'd mention - there's a newly-discovered vulnerability associated with pdf attachments can potentially be a problem.
Malicious code embedded in a pdf file could open a window that displays a fake Acrobat Update message, along with an "OK" button - if you click "OK" you're running malicious code instead of an update. You can eliminate this risk by disabling Acrobat's ability to start a separate program on it's own.
From an Acrobat window, Select > Edit > Preferences > Trust Manager > PDF File Attachments Clear the box labelled 'Allow opening of non-PDF file attachments with external applications"
