Great idea!! Millford has like 2,000 people and the mine currently employs like 30. A real philanthropist will definately be interested in saving this place instead of a country of 9 or 10 million, like Greece, right?

Additionally, Mr. Buffett assuredly wouldn't want any control over the stockholders and would want to maximize the value for the existing 6B shares, right?

I am certain he has interest in small miners with no experience becuase he has made so many massive investments in this space and he or Charlie could run the mine themselves.

A well connected individual might be able to get a few hundred grand for some of the slightly used but not abused equipment, I say try anything reasonable including Buffett, Kennecott etc
