I just found the board. I first purchased it when it had a different name, ticker symbol and a higher price. In the past year and a half I've averaged down to a cost basis of 13 cents. I have recently sold a few shares to get my initial investment back, which any smart investor does when they get a great return. I was just pointing out that people get over excited, buy more, which increases their cost basis, then if there is no news for a little while, the price drops back down. I am excited with the recent price increase, but time will tell. I don't make my investments based on excitment.
What news report have you read that stated the INDs are coming in January?( or did you just make that up?) The only news I've seen stated they had preliminary talks with the FDA.
PS. some people who hype stocks in the message boards are short sellers taking advantage of a price spike.
I am not a MM. I am a small investor with less than 100k in the market, and roughly 10% of my stock holdings on a value basis is CYGX. As I stated earlier, I sold a few shares and the money I made off of the sale offsets the entire cost of the rest of my shares. That means I have no risk. if the company does disappear, I am already even. If it does go through the roof, I still own alot more than I sold(enough to make me rich!!!)
IF the stock does hit $10, I will sell a few more shares and buy a new car. At $25 I will sell a few more more and payoff my house. At $50, I will retire. Long term is the only way to play!!!
the stock is undervalued? by what standard? Probably the "I don't now anything and hope it moves higher standard." It is hard to determine the value when there is no revenue, no signs that revenue is going to be coming in.
Just gave a quick look at advr. I wouldn't touch that one, way too many shares outstanding. probably will work it's way down and reverse split. Best upside potential $1 share price based on number shares outstanding and amount of revenue needed to generate any per share earnings. not worth the risk. ( could be wrong, just gave it a quick look)
