GIVE THIS POST A STICKIE!!
OK. I'VE DRANK THE KOOL-AID!
I got interested in this stock back in August of last year and successfully flipped it several times, then got hurt by it in November and stayed on the sidelines through the months of Dec. and Jan., when it just seemed to die. I got interested again in February, and started to actively INVEST in it, such that I now own almost 1/4 million shares. I now sincerely think this stock to be AN UNDISCOVERED GEM. I'm a marketing rep for several print publications and websites, and have come to believe that the service offered by GoIP is truly unique ... and TIMELY. This stock's PPS can explode upward ... but it must first effectively deal with a problem it has; and this board can help it in that regard.
I watched (3 times) the CEO's interview. An exciting service, but a not-so-exciting messenger. Though he no doubt believed in his service and was knowledgable about its application, he didn't bring a sense of urgency and newness to the program. Mr. Sutton should stick to running his company and spend a little money to get a YOUNG, handsome, dynamic, super-fast-talking, "techie-type" spokesperson (preferably a white male with unruly hair who hates suits and ties) to both introduce as well as tout the Go800 service. A guy who can whip out a cell phone and give us several dazzling demonstrations, while pushing the benefits of the service.
Texting is basically a digital service that was first embraced by YOUNG people, exactly the customer demographic sought after by major corporations. Go800 is a YOUTH-INSPIRED idea, and as such, it's standard bearer ought to reflect that. Find such a spokesperson (they're everywhere now-a-days) and GoIP will eventually be invited on CNBC to demonstrate its idea (and THAT should be the real marketing goal - not some crummy Web-based show) ... and then it will be time to get aboard the rocket ship to riches.
HOW CAN THIS BOARD HELP WITH THIS IDENTIFICATION PROBLEM?
In his interview, Mr. Sutton mentioned (with apparent pride) that there was growing excitement and interest by stockholders in the company's services. Clearly, he's aware that this board exists ... and probably views it frequently for ideas and shareholder sentiment. WHY NOT THEN CREATE A SPECIAL STICKY ADDRESSED TO MR. SUTTON (it can even say: "PLEASE READ THIS MR SUTTON!") WHICH WOULD CONTAIN only the very best ideas (as screened and determined by the moderators) that the collective wisdom of the board could produce. In short, we should be more activist in our efforts to see to it that GOIG gets the attention is justly deserves.
